Covid-19 Response
THE AFRICAN AERIAL SAFARIS WAY
Our priority always remains the safety and wellbeing of all our guests, as well as the communities surrounding all the lodges.
Note: We are aware of the rapidly changing environment regarding COVID-19, thus our protocols are continuously reviewed as and when new information become available or processes change.
The African Aerial Safaris experience is uniquely suited for post COVID-19 traveling. For us it has always been about the journey away from crowds, exclusive use of your own private aircraft and following the road less travelled. Sanitizers and masks will be available throughout your journey with us, and certain measures as directed by the World Health Organisation (WHO) described below will be implemented to improve hygiene and sanitation for the duration of your safari.
THE AFRICAN AERIAL SAFARIS EXPERIENCE
PRE-ARRANGED COVID-19 TESTS
We arrange RT-PCR tests while on safari to comply with all entry requirements.
BOOK WITH EASE OF MIND
Specific COVID-19 terms and conditions are in place, which greatly reduces standard refund, cancellation and deposit policy restrictions.
LIMITED EXPOSURE
Exclusive travel away from the crowds in your own private aircraft.
PRIVATE AIRCRAFT
The entire aircraft will be disinfected before your arrival, and for the duration of your journey we will have strict measures in place to ensure only your group is allowed on board.
SMALLER LESS CROWDED AIRPORTS
Reduce your exposure to other travelers.
ACCOMMODATION AWAY FROM CROWDS
The lodges have implemented strict COVID-19 protocols to protect you and their staff. All our remote lodges are exclusive and accommodate small numbers of guests. Their designs ensure natural air flow through all rooms and public areas.
STRICT BAGGAGE HANDLING
Staff and pilots will wear gloves when handling baggage and all bags and bag handles will be wiped down with alcohol wipes before being loaded on the aircraft.
LOUNGES
Where available, and if there is any waiting time, you will be escorted to lounges for your comfort and to avoid airport congestion.
“It is your reaction to adversity, not the adversity itself, that determines how your life’s story will develop.”
